How to Choose the Best 3D Hologram Manufacturer in Kolkata

A hologram is a three-dimensional image recorded using the interference of light beams from a laser or another coherent light source. Because holograms are difficult to reproduce with ordinary printing, they are widely used to protect products, documents and brands from counterfeiting.

What hologram manufacturers supply

Hologram companies in India manufacture, export and supply a wide range of holographic products, including:

2D and 3D holograms
3D holographic stickers and tamper-evident holographic stickers
Hot stamping holographic foils and lamination films
Barcode, scratch-off and sequentially numbered security labels

Where holograms are used

A holographic label is a type of label that can be applied to packaging, documents or the product itself. Common uses include medicine cartons, liquor bottles, FMCG packs, electronics, automotive parts, certificates and identity cards. In each case, the hologram helps customers and inspectors check that the item is genuine, and shows if a pack has been opened.

What to look for in a 3D hologram manufacturer

In-house origination. A manufacturer that creates its own hologram masters can design custom security features and keep your artwork confidential.
A range of security features. Look for options such as microtext, concealed images, kinetic effects, serial numbers and QR codes.
Secure production. Masters, dies and misprints should be stored and destroyed under supervision, so your hologram cannot be copied from the factory.
Consistent quality. Ask how each batch is inspected, and request samples before placing a large order.
Industry membership. Membership of the Hologram Manufacturers Association of India (HoMAI) shows commitment to industry standards.
